Upon notification, a large number of firefighters, AFAD, UMKE, and health teams, along with helicopters, were dispatched to the area from the city center, districts, and surrounding provinces. While those staying at the hotel were evacuated due to the fire, teams are continuing extensive efforts to extinguish the fire.

Bolu Governor Abdülaziz Aydın reported that a fire broke out on the restaurant floor of the hotel, where around 234 guests were staying, around 03:30 at night according to initial assessments.

Governor Aydın stated that the flames spread from there, saying, "Currently, we have 3 fatalities and 11 injuries. 2 of the fatalities occurred due to panic jumping. One is a hotel staff member and the other is a guest. We are working to identify the 3rd person. The intervention to the fire continues."
