Two women who entered a pig farm in the Limpopo province of the Republic of South Africa without permission were killed, and the farm owner and two farm workers were accused of feeding their bodies to pigs. The hearing regarding the bail request of the farm owner and the two workers was postponed.
According to reports in the national press, the farm owner and two workers, who allegedly killed the two women and fed their bodies to pigs at the pig farm in rural Limpopo in August, appeared before the Polokwane Regional Court.
During the hearing, the 60-year-old farm owner Zachariah Olivier, 19-year-old Rudolph de Wet, and 50-year-old William Musora, who were charged with murder, attempted murder, and possession of an unlicensed firearm, requested to be released on bail. A group gathered in front of the court to protest against the bail request of the suspects. THE BODIES WERE FOUND IN THE PIG STYIn the incident that occurred on the evening of August 17 in the rural area of Polokwane, two black women named Maria Makgato, 45, and Lucia Ndlovu, 34, along with a black man named Mabutho Ncube, were attacked by the owner and workers of the farm they entered to collect food scraps. After Ncube, who survived the attack with injuries, reported the incident to the police, a search of the farm revealed the bodies of the two women, partially eaten, in the pigsty. It was alleged that Olivier, Wet, and Musora fed the bodies to the pigs to destroy evidence.
