Bursaspor has appealed to the Turkish Football Federation regarding the away stand penalty imposed after the match against Fethiyespor. While waiting for the result of the application, the green-white management is also continuing its efforts to have the match against Ankara Demirspor played in a stadium with a larger capacity.
The president of TFF 3. Lig team Bursaspor, Enes Çelik, stated that due to the high attendance of fans for the away match against Ankara Demirspor, there is a possibility of moving the match to a larger stadium, and he expressed that discussions are being held between the clubs on this matter.
IF THERE ARE NO ISSUES, THE MATCH WILL BE AT ERYAMAN STADIUM
Çelik mentioned that the efforts made are progressing positively and that the match will most likely be played at Eryaman Stadium. President Çelik emphasized that the victory has given great morale to the community and stated that their goal is to declare the championship within a few weeks.
''WE THINK IT WILL BE PLAYED IN A LARGER STADIUM''
Speaking about the possibility of changing the stadium for the match, Çelik said, "We have held discussions with both our management and the opposing club's management for the Ankara Demirspor match to be played in a larger stadium. The necessary applications have been made. We believe there is a 99% chance it will be played in a larger stadium. I believe our fans will not leave us alone again. The away penalty affects a small portion of our fans, but despite this, their support continues," he said.
