As part of the investigation into Güllü's death, her daughter Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter was arrested last Friday on charges of "premeditated murder of a relative." Güllü's ex-boyfriend İlker Karaman made special statements during a program, sharing striking information about the famous artist's life. Highlighting Güllü's issues with trust, Karaman reported that she said, "I don't trust anyone, that's why I installed cameras in the house."
On September 26, singer Güllü, who fell from the terrace of her house in Yalova Çınarcık and lost her life, had her daughter Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter arrested last Friday on charges of "deliberately killing a relative."
Güllü's ex-boyfriend İlker Karaman appeared on the "Bu Sabah" program aired on Show TV and made striking statements about his last meeting with the famous singer.
Karaman stated that Güllü called him about 10-15 minutes before the incident and expressed her concerns about security.
"I DON'T TRUST ANYONE, THAT'S WHY I INSTALLED CAMERAS"
Karaman expressed the following regarding Güllü's security concerns:
"When I first went to her, after we reconciled, I saw cameras everywhere... I asked, 'What are these?' She told me, 'I don't trust anyone, that's why I installed so many cameras.' Her room was also accessed with a fingerprint. I couldn't even enter. That night, the plugs of the cameras were pulled out. Only the camera in her room was plugged in. Sometimes when I went there, she would complain, 'Who unplugged this camera?' She would plug it back in herself. She would say, 'No one should tamper with the camera plugs, no one should touch them.'
Karaman mentioned that Güllü said, "I buy bracelets with every money, I was investing," and noted that the artist had a safe in her bedroom. In their last conversations, she said, "I came to make peace with you. I hurt you a lot, we will get up together, we will leave this place together."
"SHE DIDN'T GIVE ME ANY INFORMATION ABOUT HER FINANCES"
Finally, Karaman added:
"Güllü never gave me any information about her finances. I wouldn't have asked her about it anyway... I never inquired about what she had or didn't have for years. She would only tell me. She was buying bracelets with every money she received. She never took these bracelets off her wrist. She had a safe in her bedroom, but I don't know if it was locked or open. If her son Tuğberk took the safe after the incident, that's very strange. She used to say, 'I found a piece of land in a village in Bergama, we can build a small house there.'
