A hot air balloon with tourists in Cappadocia made an emergency landing and got stuck on the rocks due to the expiration of the flight time. 20 tourists were stranded at a height of 50 meters. Thanks to the quick intervention of the teams, those trapped were evacuated.

The Nevşehir Governorship stated regarding the issue, "A hot air balloon that took off from the Çavuşin area of our province at 05:00 today made a forced landing on a slope near the Zelve Open Air Museum around 06:00 due to the expiration of the flight duration. The balloon made a controlled landing at the pilot's discretion, taking into account the weather conditions and the flight process. No injuries occurred in the incident. After the incident, our passengers on the balloon were evacuated safely with the rapid intervention of our AFAD teams. An administrative investigation has been initiated regarding the matter."
