In the Sapanca district of Sakarya, a chain collision involving a passenger bus, an excavation truck, and two cars resulted in the death of 1 person and injuries to 27 others, 3 of whom are in serious condition. The accident occurred around 19:30 on the Anadolu Highway in the Sapanca district. The passenger bus, whose drivers and license plates have not yet been identified, collided with the excavation truck and two cars heading towards Ankara. Upon notification, ambulance, fire brigade, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. The health team's examination revealed that 1 person had died.
An INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED REGARDING THE ACCIDENT
27 people injured in the accident were taken to hospitals in the city by ambulances after the initial intervention of the health teams. It was learned that 3 of the injured are in critical condition. The body of the deceased person was taken to the morgue after the examination conducted at the accident site. Due to the accident, the Ankara direction of the highway has been closed to traffic, while teams continue their efforts to remove vehicles and clear the road. An investigation has been initiated regarding the accident.
