The Mayor of Los Angeles, California, Karen Bass, announced that she has declared a curfew due to incidents arising from ongoing protests supporting irregular migrants.
VALID IN A 2-KILOMETER AREA The curfew will start at 8:00 PM local time and last until 6:00 AM, and it will be valid in an area of approximately 2 kilometers in the city center.

I have declared a curfew in downtown Los Angeles starting at 8:00 PM tonight to stop malicious individuals taking advantage of the President's chaotic escalation."

WHAT HAPPENED? As protests supporting irregular migrants detained by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) continue in Los Angeles, the Trump administration has reacted strongly to the incidents.
Many protesters have been detained during the anti-ICE protests, and clashes have occurred between security forces and protesters at times, with numerous vehicles set on fire by some protesters, rendering them unusable.
President Trump announced that he had initially deployed about 2,000 National Guards to the area to control the situation in Los Angeles, and later announced that an additional 2,000 guards and 700 Marines would also be deployed.
