Mehmet Yalçınkaya reacted strongly to the contestants violating the rules in the latest episode of MasterChef Turkey. Angered by the contestants who tasted without permission and deviated from the recipe despite it being prohibited, Yalçınkaya said, "Why did you taste it knowing it was forbidden? You can't say I put the sauce according to my own preference. There is serious indiscipline here; who do you think you are?"
The popular cooking competition MasterChef Turkey on TV8 has made a quick entrance to the screens with its new season. After the determination of the 20-person main cast, the exciting competition began. However, in the early weeks of the competition, some contestants have come under scrutiny for not adhering to the rules.
RULES WERE VIOLATED, CHEF GOT ANGRY
In the last episode, the contestants raised the tension in the studio by tasting without permission, despite it being prohibited, and deviating from the given recipes to add their own interpretations. Despite the basic rules of "not tasting" and "not deviating from the recipe" being clearly stated in the MasterChef kitchen, the consecutive violations pushed Mehmet Yalçınkaya's patience to the limit.
ULTIMATUM FROM CHEF MEHMET
After the incidents, Chef Mehmet made a stern speech in the kitchen, clearly warning the contestants. Yalçınkaya stated that serious sanctions could be imposed if the rules were not followed, emphasizing that discipline and kitchen order are indispensable elements of the competition. Losing his temper, Chef Mehmet expressed his frustration by saying, "Why did you taste it knowing it was forbidden? Someone comes and says, 'I put the sauce according to my own preference.' Another person can't even explain their dish. Are we going to force the words out of your mouth? If you couldn't do it, you should clearly state why you couldn't. We are not playing a game here. I've been silent for days, but enough is enough. There is serious indiscipline here. Who do you think you are?"
