Trendyol Süper Lig clubs are not backing down against the foreign player rule planned for the new season.
CLUBS UNION TO TAKE ACTION
The Clubs Union is preparing to take action again to keep the "12+2" system in effect, which was previously rejected by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF).
Last week, the Clubs Union Foundation convened and reviewed the "10+4" foreign player limit planned by the TFF for the new season, unanimously opposing this decision. During the meeting, a joint demand was made to continue the current 12+2 foreign player rule. In the process, only Kocaelispor initially showed a different stance, but later supported the change and signed on.
NEGATIVE RESPONSE FROM TFF
However, the TFF responded negatively to this determined and unified demand from the clubs, announcing in an official statement that no changes would be made to the rule.
DETERMINED STANCE AGAINST THE 10+4 RULE WILL CONTINUE
Despite the TFF's stance, the Süper Lig teams are not giving up. It has been learned that in the upcoming meeting of the Clubs Union, they will reiterate their determined stance against the 10+4 rule and bring their demands more strongly to the TFF's agenda.
