While no deputy mayor could be elected in the first two rounds, tension erupted in the third round after 6 CHP members voted for the AK Party candidate. CHP members protested, saying, 'This is dishonesty, unacceptable.' Following the tension, in the fourth round of voting, CHP's candidate Sibel Tan Çetinkaya was elected as the Deputy Mayor of Üsküdar.
