In the Yüreğir district of Adana, two workers lost their lives after being trapped under construction materials that fell from a tower crane. The accident occurred when the rope carrying the materials broke, resulting in the deaths of workers Tahir Çeri and Erdal Sağır.

In the Atakent neighborhood, a metal basket loaded with construction materials being transported by a tower crane fell to the ground due to a broken rope.
SCUFFLE AMONG WORKERS' RELATIVES
During this time, workers Tahir Çeri and Erdal Sağır were trapped under the construction materials.
Upon notification of the incident, 112 Emergency Health and police teams were dispatched to the area. In the examination conducted by the health teams, it was determined that the two workers had lost their lives. Relatives of the deceased workers, who learned about the incident and went to the construction site, shed tears.
Some relatives of the deceased workers argued with the personnel at the construction site. After the argument, police teams intervened in the ensuing scuffle and removed the parties from the area. Later, the bodies were taken to the Adana Forensic Medicine Institution. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
