Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved the strategic partnership agreement between his country and North Korea. According to the defense clause in the agreement, if one party is attacked, the other party will provide military assistance. THERE IS A CRITICAL CLAUSE IN THE SIGNED AGREEMENTThe agreement, which includes the establishment of a strategic partnership between Russia and North Korea, has been published in the country's legal information system. The agreement foresees the development of relations between the two countries in many areas such as defense, agriculture, health, and education, and it also includes a clause stating that if one party is attacked, the other party will provide military assistance. THEY WILL BE ABLE TO CONDUCT JOINT MILITARY EXERCISESAccording to the agreement, the two countries will also be able to conduct joint military exercises "to prevent war and strengthen their defense capabilities." The agreement in question was signed during Putin's visit to North Korea in June and was subsequently approved by the lower house of the Russian parliament, the Duma, and the upper house, the Federation Council.
