With the decision published in the Official Gazette signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Hacı Ali Özel, the General Director of Personnel, has been appointed as the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

According to the appointment decisions, Hacı Ali Özel, the General Director of Personnel, has been appointed as the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
WHO IS HACI ALI ÖZEL?
Hacı Ali Özel, born in 1969 in the Yunak district of Konya, completed his undergraduate education in the Department of Economics at Hacettepe University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. He then completed a master's program organized by the Turkish and Middle Eastern Public Administration Institute, accredited by the European Association for Public Administration Accreditation, and earned the title of Public Administration Specialist.
Özel became a European Union Specialist by successfully completing a program organized in the field of the European Union by the Ankara University Center for European Community Research and Application.
Having many years of experience in public administration and senior bureaucracy, Hacı Ali Özel has served as Deputy General Manager at Eti Bakır A.Ş., Vice President at the Refik Saydam Hygiene Center, Department Head and Deputy Undersecretary at the Prime Ministry. Additionally, he served as Deputy Undersecretary at the Presidency between 2017 and 2018.
Özel has academic works, including a thesis on "Crimes Committed by Civil Servants and the Prosecution of Civil Servants," as well as research and studies titled "Monetary Union and the Turkish Economy" and "Copenhagen Political Criteria and the Situation of Turkey."
Married and a father of three, Hacı Ali Özel officially began his duties as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs following the published decision.
