The CHP Headquarters has referred Şahin Kurt, a member of the Çankaya District who filed a lawsuit to cancel the 22nd Extraordinary Congress to be held tomorrow, to disciplinary action with a request for 'definitive expulsion' on a 'precautionary' basis.
Şahin Kurt, one of the delegates from CHP in Ankara, applied to the Çankaya 4th District Election Board for the cancellation of the 22nd Extraordinary Congress to be held tomorrow in CHP, and the Board rejected the request. The applicant, Şahin Kurt, took his appeal to the Ankara Provincial Election Board.
RETURNED FROM THE PROVINCIAL ELECTION BOARD AS WELL
The Ankara Provincial Election Board unanimously ruled that "there is no place for a decision regarding the appeal due to the finality of the decision made by the District Election Board President."
REFERRED TO DISCIPLINARY ACTION
Following this development, a notable move came from the CHP Headquarters. Şahin Kurt, a member of the Çankaya District who filed a lawsuit for the cancellation of the congress, was referred to the High Disciplinary Board (YDK) by the CHP administration.
'DEFINITIVE EXPULSION' REQUESTED
Due to actions that undermine party discipline, Kurt, who was referred to disciplinary action 'with precaution', has had a 'definitive expulsion' requested against him.
