After the footage of a father allegedly making money by having his daughter dance went viral on TikTok, the Ministry of Family and Social Services took action. The ministry announced that the father has been detained and that the child has been placed under state protection.
In the Erzin district of Hatay, a father's videos of having his daughter perform in TikTok broadcasts to collect money have caused an uproar on social media. Social media users have called for action against the father by tagging Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya and the Ministry of Family and Social Services.

The Ministry of Family and Social Services announced that the father, who is accused of making money by having his daughter perform on social media, has been detained and the child has been placed under state protection.

In the ministry's statement, it was noted that it was deemed appropriate to make a statement regarding news published by some media outlets under the headline "The father trying to make money by having his daughter perform on TikTok ignored the reactions."
In the statement, it was expressed that the security units promptly took action after identifying the address related to the mentioned videos, and the following was recorded:
"Our child featured in the videos has been placed under state protection after health checks. A psychosocial support process for our child has been initiated by our expert teams. The individual in question has been detained by the security units. As a ministry, we will intervene in the legal process and continue to closely monitor the process to ensure that the individual receives the necessary punishment."
