The body of the famous artist Ferdi Tayfur was carried on shoulders to be taken to the funeral vehicle after the prayer was held. During this time, due to the crowd in the area, the famous artist's coffin almost fell to the ground.
Ferdi Tayfur, who had been struggling with health issues for a while, passed away on January 2nd. A memorial ceremony was held for the famous singer at the Atatürk Cultural Center first. After the ceremony at AKM, the artist's funeral was brought to Levent Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Mosque.
