A motorcycle rider who made an improper overtaking maneuver on the highway between İznik district of Bursa and Pamukova in Sakarya collided with a car. The 59-year-old motorcycle rider lost his life, while the moment of the accident was captured second by second by the helmet camera of another motorcycle.
One person died and one person was injured as a result of a motorcycle colliding with a car in the Osmaneli district of Bilecik.
LOST CONTROL OF THE STEERING WHEEL AND CRASHED INTO ONCOMING VEHICLE
The accident occurred yesterday afternoon in the Ericek Village area of Osmaneli district, Bilecik, on the Iznik-Pamukova State Highway. According to the information obtained, the motorcycle with license plate 41 BCA, driven by Suat Yakar (59), collided with a car with license plate 16 UG, driven by Fatih Metiner, when the driver lost control of the steering wheel while trying to overtake the vehicle in front of him, as he was heading towards Iznik from Pamukova.
DIED IN HOSPITAL
The motorcycle driver Suat Yakar, who was seriously injured in the collision, could not be saved despite all the interventions at Pamukova State Hospital. The car driver Fatih Metiner, who was injured in the accident, was transferred to Pamukova District State Hospital for treatment.

Teams dispatched to the scene briefly opened the road to traffic under control. An investigation has been launched regarding the accident.
