Death Toll Of Palestinians From Israel's Relentless Attacks On Gaza Hit Grim Figure Of 37,372

18.06.2024 14:27

'Israeli forces killed 25 people, and injured 80 others in three massacres against families in the last 24 hours,' says Health Ministry in Gaza At least 85,452 people have also been injured in Israeli onslaught since Oct. 7, ministry adds.

The death toll of Palestinians from Israel's relentless attacks on the Gaza Strip since last October has reached 37,372, the Health Ministry in the besieged enclave announced on Tuesday.

At least 85,452 people have also been injured in the onslaught, the ministry added in a statement, as the Israeli deadly attacks entered the 256th day.

"Israeli forces killed 25 people, and injured 80 others in three massacres against families in the last 24 hours," the ministry said.

Rescuers are unable to reach many people who are still trapped under rubble and on the roads, it added.

Israel has continued its brutal offensive on the Palestinian enclave since Oct. 7, 2023, following a Hamas attack despite a UN Security Council resolution demanding an immediate cease-fire in the enclave.

Over eight months into the Israeli war, vast tracts of Gaza lay in ruins amid a crippling blockade of food, clean water and medicine.

Israel stands accused of "genocide" at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which in its latest ruling has ordered Tel Aviv to immediately halt its operation in Rafah, where over a million Palestinians had sought refuge from the war before it was invaded on May 6. -
