While many institutions, municipalities, and NGOs organize events related to December 3rd, Fahrettin Altun, the President of the Communication Directorate, published a message on his social media account regarding "December 3rd, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities."
In his message, Communication Director Altun stated, "The values and success stories that our citizens with disabilities bring to life are a source of pride and inspiration for all of us. As the Presidency of the Communication Directorate, we are working to remove all barriers to equal living through our projects such as Accessible CİMER, Listen Project, Accessible Access, and Communication Guide. With the principle of 'Live and let live,' we strive to facilitate the lives of individuals with disabilities through all our institutions. On December 3rd, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, I extend my love and respect to all individuals with disabilities. We will continue our efforts with increasing determination to ensure they lead a more peaceful, happy, and equal life," he expressed.

The Ministry of National Education also made a statement indicating that the efforts for citizens with disabilities will continue. The statement emphasized that "On December 3rd, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, it is important to take steps towards creating a society with high awareness and consciousness, and efforts are being made to highlight the strengths of individuals with special educational needs. As the General Directorate of Special Education and Guidance Services, we are conducting studies that take into account the interests, desires, competencies, and needs of each individual in line with the principle of equal opportunity in education for individuals with special educational needs. On this meaningful day, we express our gratitude to the administrators, teachers, parents, and all stakeholders who contribute to providing educational services to students with special educational needs, stating that we will continue our efforts to achieve a society where all individuals with special educational needs have equal opportunities through our contributions for a more accessible future."
