The TFF Arbitration Board announced that it has upheld the 45-day ban imposed on Eren Elmalı for betting. Eren Elmalı will not be able to play in the Fenerbahçe derby scheduled for December 1st.
The TFF Appeals Committee has made its final decision regarding Galatasaray player Eren Elmalı, who received a 45-day ban due to betting.
45-DAY BAN CONFIRMED
The 45-day ban imposed by the Professional Football Discipline Committee (PFDK) for betting has been confirmed by the Appeals Committee with a majority vote.
In the statement, it was said, "The appeal of player Evren Eren Elmalı regarding the decision of the PFDK dated 13.11.2025 and numbered E.2025-2026/659 - K.2025-2026/736 was examined. As a result of the discussions; it was understood that there was no error in terms of evidence, legal qualification, and determination of the penalty regarding the decision to punish player Evren Eren Elmalı with a 45-day ban due to the betting action in accordance with Articles 57/2 and 13 of the FDT, therefore, it was unanimously decided to reject the application and uphold the decision, and to reject the request for postponement."
WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PLAY IN THE DERBY
In line with this penalty, national left-back Eren Elmalı will not be able to participate in the Fenerbahçe derby to be held on December 1.
