The PFDK decided that there was no basis for punishment despite the referral of Eyüpspor's head coach Arda Turan due to allegations of threatening the match referee. At the same time, the PFDK imposed fines on 8 clubs from the Super League. Antalyaspor's head coach Emre Belözoğlu was banned from 1 official match and fined 58,500 Turkish Lira for unsportsmanlike conduct towards the referee.
The PFDK decided that there was no need for a penalty despite the referral of Eyüpspor's head coach Arda Turan due to his threat towards the match referee before the Eyüpspor-Beşiktaş match to be played this evening.
The statement from the PFDK is as follows;
"Although a referral was made to our Board regarding Arda Turan due to his threat towards the match referee; it has been decided that there is no need for a penalty as the elements of the alleged disciplinary violation have not been established."
1 MATCH PENALTY FOR EMRE BELÖZOĞLU
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) imposed fines on 8 clubs from the Trendyol Super League.
According to the statement made by the TFF, the PFDK imposed fines of 693 thousand lira on Beşiktaş, 648 thousand lira on Galatasaray, 525 thousand lira on Eyüpspor, 258 thousand lira on Çaykur Rizespor, 210 thousand lira on Bellona Kayserispor, and 40 thousand 500 lira each on Onvo Antalyaspor, Reeder Samsunspor, and Net Global Sivasspor. Additionally, the Board imposed a ban of 1 official match and a fine of 58 thousand 500 lira on Onvo Antalyaspor's head coach Emre Belözoğlu due to unsportsmanlike conduct towards the referee.
