According to the decision published in the Official Gazette with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan; it was decided to employ contracted healthcare personnel in order to effectively and efficiently carry out healthcare services in areas and service branches where there are difficulties in obtaining personnel, in accordance with Article 1 of Law No. 4924 dated 10/07/2003.

The published decision also included the units of contracted healthcare personnel to be employed. According to the decision, a total of 26,673 healthcare personnel will be employed on a contractual basis, including 1 dietitian, 9 midwives, 2 nurses, 25 health officers, 1 health technician, 3,652 physicians, and 22,983 specialist physicians.
