The Deputy Chairman of HÜDA PAR and Gaziantep MP Şehzade Demir delivered 8,000 signatures collected against the alleged unjust practices of DEDAŞ in the Silopi district of Şırnak to the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş. Highlighting the long-standing grievances of the people, Demir stated that they have brought the issue to the agenda of the Parliament for a solution, saying, "We will not let go of these injustices."
HÜDA PAR Deputy Chairman and Gaziantep Member of Parliament Şehzade Demir delivered 8,000 signatures collected by citizens protesting against the alleged 'unjust practices' carried out by Dicle Electricity Distribution Co. (DEDAŞ) in the Silopi district of Şırnak to the President of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş.
"MR. PRESIDENT STATED THAT HE WOULD TAKE THE NECESSARY ACTIONS"
Demir, in a post on his social media account, noted that TBMM President Kurtulmuş showed sensitivity regarding the issue and used the following statements: "Mr. President stated that he would review the file we submitted and take the necessary actions. On this occasion, I express my gratitude to him on behalf of my brothers and sisters from Silopi."
"WE WILL NOT GIVE UP ON THE PURSUIT OF ILLEGALITIES"
Demir emphasized that the local people have been suffering from grievances caused by DEDAŞ for a long time and stated that they would continue to fight for a solution to the problem: "I hope the suffering of the local people caused by DEDAŞ for years comes to an end. We will not give up on the pursuit of these illegalities until this problem is resolved."
He also shared a photo taken at the moment he delivered the file to Numan Kurtulmuş as follows;
