The 16-year-old daughter, whom Deniz Akkaya said "He applied violence to me, locked me on the balcony," has been taken under protection by the Ministry of Family and Social Services. The Ministry of Family and Social Services has taken custody of the 16-year-old daughter of former model Deniz Akkaya following her social media posts. Akkaya, in her statement regarding the incident, stated that she sent her daughter willingly.

After the necessary investigation and evaluations by the team assigned by the Ministry of Family and Social Services, the 16-year-old girl has been placed under protection and necessary psychological support has been provided. Deniz Akkaya, who made a video statement on her X account after the news spread, expressed her reaction by saying, "I had to call the police, I fought on the balcony for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Don't make stupid comments. I sent the child willingly. So that she can experience life. Get a grip on yourselves."

Former model Deniz Akkaya explained the incident she experienced with her 16-year-old daughter in her post on her X account. Akkaya, stating that her daughter subjected her to violence, said, "After a career that started in 1997 and a very happy life, I got pregnant with a completely wrong choice of father and my life turned into a nightmare. The custody battle I fought with a mentally ill person lasted a lifetime. I just found my daughter's phone that she has been hiding from me for 16 years. I took the phone from her as a result of finding her plans to go abroad and more. Not only did she physically attack me, but she also locked me on the balcony for 1.5 hours. When the requests of the neighbors and security were unanswered, I called 112 three times and was rescued."
