Detained HDP Members Taken To Court

Twenty-two people who were detained in an operation at the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) office in the western province of Kocaeli were taken to the court on Friday.

During the operation police detained 22 people including Hikmet Koçak, head of HDP’s Darıca branch. Following the procedures at the Kocaeli Police Department, the detainees were taken to the Gebze Court by the police. Relatives of the detained people and HDP supporters welcomed them at the courthouse.

The interrogation is still continuing at the court.
