In Antalya, a chain supermarket branch that was found to be selling expired chicken products has been sealed.
In the Alanya district of Antalya, during inspections carried out by municipal police teams, it was determined that a chain market branch in Avsallar Neighborhood had put chicken products with expired expiration dates and damaged packaging where the usage date could not be read up for sale.
COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES SUSPENDED FOR 3 DAYS
Following legal proceedings, the market was sealed and its commercial activities were suspended for 3 days. In a statement, Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik emphasized that public health comes before everything else.
Stressing that they work with an uncompromising approach regarding food, Özçelik noted that inspections will continue uninterrupted to ensure citizens can shop in a healthy and safe manner.
