TMSF put Point Bornova Shopping Mall in Izmir up for sale with an estimated price of 1 billion 700 million TL. The auction will be held on June 17.

The Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (SDIF) has put up for sale the Point Bornova Mall Commercial and Economic Integrity, belonging to Nokta Bornova Gayrimenkul Geliştirme İnşaat Turizm Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ, for which it was appointed as a trustee. The estimated value determined for the massive shopping mall is 1 billion 700 million TL.

145 REAL ESTATE PROPERTIES INCLUDED IN THE SALE

It was stated that the sale includes 145 real estate properties allocated to the Point Bornova Mall operation, along with various goods, rights, and assets.

Investors wishing to participate in the auction are required to deposit a guarantee of 170 million 20 thousand TL.

AUCTION TO BE HELD ON JUNE 17

In the auction process to be conducted by the SDIF, both sealed bid and open auction methods will be applied together. Investors must submit their proposals to the Sales Commission by no later than June 16, 2026, at 16:00.

The auction is scheduled to take place on June 17, 2026, at 14:00, at the SDIF's headquarters building in Istanbul Esentepe.

NEGOTIATION OPTION ALSO ON THE AGENDA

It was stated that if the highest bid submitted during the sealed bid phase falls below the estimated value, the process may continue via negotiation method upon a decision by the Fund Board.

In this case, negotiation meetings are planned to be held on June 19, 2026.

FACILITY VISIT OPPORTUNITY FOR INVESTORS

It was reported that investors interested in Point Bornova Mall can conduct a facility visit between May 20, 2026, and June 15, 2026, and benefit from the information room.

The winning investor of the auction will be required to pay the auction price along with a 20% VAT amount in cash.
