A new development has occurred in the case regarding the accident in which Oğuz Murat Aci lost his life. Oğuz Murat Aci's wife, Timur Cihantimur, withdrew her complaint against Eylem Tok. It was claimed that Şükriye Aci withdrew from the case in exchange for 100 million TL. Responding to this claim, Şükriye Aci stated, "We are not talking about such an extraordinary amount of money. We have received the compensation that belongs to my son and me."
Oğuz Murat Aci lost his life in an accident in Kemerburgaz, Istanbul. Timur Cihantimur, who caused the incident, fled to the USA with his mother Eylem Tok. Şükriye Aci, the wife of Aci, who is a complainant in the case, and 4 other complainants who were injured in the accident submitted a petition stating that they had withdrawn their complaints against both Timur Cihantimur and Eylem Tok.
In the petition submitted to the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office by Şükriye Aci's lawyer Ahmet Aslan, it was stated that the material and moral damages suffered by Şükriye Aci due to this incident were compensated by Bülent Cihantimur, the father of the juvenile offender Timur Cihantimur who caused the accident.
"OUR MATERIAL AND MORAL DAMAGES HAVE BEEN COMPENSATED"
The petition included the statement, "For this reason, my client has withdrawn her complaint against the suspects Ayşe Ceren Saltoğlu, Adem Kızıltepe, Bülent Cihantimur, and Eylem Tok, and she does not have a request to participate in the potential case that may arise from the incident subject to the investigation."
It was also noteworthy that the petition submitted by the complainants included the statement, "Our material and moral damages have been compensated."
REACTION FROM OĞUZ MURAT ACI'S PARENTS
Oğuz Murat Aci's father Özer Aci stated that they have not withdrawn from the case. Özer Aci said, "I am continuing with my case; I have not withdrawn from it." Father Aci added, "My expectation from this case is that they will receive the heaviest punishment. This case will be an example."
GRIEVING MOTHER BLASTS HER DAUGHTER-IN-LAW
While Şükriye Aci's decision made headlines, a strong reaction came from Oğuz Murat Aci's mother Pervin Aci towards her daughter-in-law. Speaking to Rojda Altıntaş, Pervin Aci expressed her anger with harsh words.
Pervin Aci stated that her daughter-in-law does not need money and lives a very luxurious life. Saying that she does not forgive her, Pervin Aci said: "My daughter-in-law has a 2 million lira car. Her living expenses are very luxurious. I gave her an apartment in Göktürk. She has a salary of over 50 thousand a month."

She receives income from many rents. She moved from the villa we gave her to her mother's place, to the ground floor; just to be able to receive money. Let them drown in my son's blood. She sold my son's blood. She left her husband of two or three years. I do not forgive."
ŞÜKRİYE ACI RESPONDS TO 100 MILLION CLAIMS
It was claimed that Şükriye Aci, the wife of Oğuz Murat Aci, received "100 million TL" to withdraw from the case. Şükriye Aci responded to the claim brought up by Oğuz Murat Aci's father Özer Aci. Şükriye Aci stated, "These claims are made because the person making them expects this amount; we are definitely not talking about such an extraordinary sum. We have received the compensation that belongs to my son and me. I know that the public case will continue. However, I decided to withdraw from the case because I have been very worn out by my husband's family."
WHAT HAPPENED?
On March 1, 2024, in Eyüpsultan, Istanbul, one of the three ATVs in motion broke down, and while the broken vehicle was being repaired on the roadside, one of the two vehicles moving in the same direction crashed into the three ATVs, resulting in the death of Oğuz Murat Aci, one of the 5 injured people. It was determined that the 17-year-old driver Timur Cihantimur, who caused the accident, fled the scene with his mother Eylem Tok in her vehicle and went first to Egypt and then to the USA.
