Yılmaz, who revealed the reason for the murder, said, "I learned from my source, and it is very reliable. According to my source, there is a relationship between the mother and the uncle. When the child entered the house, she saw the mother and the uncle in an inappropriate situation." 24 PEOPLE DETAINED IN NARIN MURDER CASENarin Güran, 8 years old, who disappeared on August 21 in Tavşantepe neighborhood of Bağlar district in Diyarbakır after leaving the Quran course, vanished without a trace. On the 19th day of the search efforts, the sad news came. The lifeless body of the little girl was found in a sack in Eğertutmaz Stream near the village. While 24 people, including family members, were detained in connection with the incident, a striking development occurred in the brutal murder that plunged the whole of Turkey into mourning. "NARIN SAW HER MOTHER AND UNCLE IN AN INAPPROPRIATE SITUATION"In the program Didem Arslan Yılmaz ile Vazgeçme (Don't Give Up) aired on Show TV, journalist Yılmaz revealed the reason for the murder. Yılmaz, who said, "I learned from my source, and it is very reliable," used the following words: "According to my source, there is a relationship between the mother and the uncle. When the child entered the house, she saw the mother and the uncle in an inappropriate situation." WHAT HAPPENED?On August 21, when Narin Güran went to the Quran course in Tavşantepe neighborhood of Bağlar district, she did not return home, so her family searched for her on their own. When the search efforts did not yield any results, Narin's father, Arif Güran, reported her missing on the same day around 20:00. As a result, numerous search and rescue teams were dispatched to the area, and searches were conducted in houses in the neighborhood and vehicles entering the village. While the search efforts were ongoing, Narin Güran's brother E.G. (18) was detained due to bite marks on his arm. Since it could not be determined whether the bite marks belonged to Narin in the examination at the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute, E.G. was released. Then Narin's uncle, who is also the muhtar (village head) of rural Tavşantepe neighborhood, Salim Güran, was detained. It was determined that the DNA samples taken from his vehicle matched the DNA samples on Narin's clothes, and Salim Güran was arrested on charges of "intentional killing" and "deprivation of liberty." As the teams refocused on previously searched areas, they conducted a search in Eğertutmaz Stream, located 2 kilometers away from the neighborhood, and found Narin's lifeless body on the 19th day. It was determined that Narin was killed and then thrown into the stream in a sack, which was covered with stones.
