In the Cide district of Kastamonu, an unmanned aerial vehicle weighing approximately 200 kilograms crashed into the garden of a house. The UAV, which fell with a loud noise, caught fire and became unusable. While the gendarmerie launched an investigation into the incident, a UAV was also found by citizens in the Alaçam district of Samsun.
A drone crashed into a hazelnut garden behind the house of Musa Zilan, residing in the Kuşkayası village of Cide district in Kastamonu. The drone, which fell with a loud noise and is estimated to weigh over 200 kilograms, subsequently caught fire. Parts of the drone that fell into the garden scattered around.
INVESTIGATION UNDERWAY INTO ORIGIN OF DRONE THAT CRASHED INTO GARDEN
Musa Zilan, who came out of his house upon hearing the noise, was surprised to see the aircraft that had fallen into his garden. Following the incident, Zilan made a report. Upon the report, gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene.

In the Karataş area of Yukarı Elma Mahallesi in Samsun's Alaçam district, gendarmerie teams were dispatched upon citizens' reports. Security forces took extensive security measures in the area and initiated work to examine the object found.
While initial assessments indicated the object was an unmanned aerial vehicle, technical examination continues to determine its origin and characteristics. It was learned that after on-site inspections, the drone will be evaluated in detail by relevant units.
