In the evening hours, the rain that was effective in the İskenderun and Payas districts of Hatay turned the roads into lakes. Due to the heavy rainfall, vehicles were submerged in the roads that became lakes, causing disruptions in transportation.

The General Directorate of Meteorology issued a warning for heavy rainfall in the districts of Iskenderun and Payas in Hatay, where heavy rain has negatively affected life since the evening hours.

The water had risen to a level where it was impossible to walk, and it was quite dirty. We had to take a detour of about 2 kilometers to reach our destination. While rain is a good thing for the region, it is not pleasant for such a beautiful thing to turn into such a troublesome problem," he expressed.
