According to a report by Greek State Television ERT, a meeting of a committee consisting of officials and experts decided to extend the break in education for one week in the islands of Santorini, Yamurgi, Niyoz, and Anafiya in the Aegean.
WHAT HAPPENED?
In these islands, schools had been closed since February 3 due to seismic activity. As a precaution against a possible major earthquake, all activities on these islands were canceled, and the public was advised not to gather in enclosed spaces. Additionally, search and rescue teams, drones, and generators were dispatched to the region.
