Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek spoke about the events that occurred after the Konyaspor match and the TFF's statement. In his statement, Özbek said, "The responsible party for this disgrace, the MHK, is still sitting in their seat. There are no dirty tricks in Galatasaray's 500-year culture. Galatasaray Club President Dursun Özbek made striking statements at GSYİAD regarding the events that occurred after the Konyaspor match and the TFF's statement.
'THE MANAGEMENT THAT SHATTERED THE SENSE OF JUSTICE'
Referring to the referee decisions in the Konyaspor match, Dursun Özbek said, "As Galatasaray, we have always been the defenders of justice, rights, and labor. I regret to say that we faced a referee management last night that shattered the sense of justice on the field. A similar goal that was not awarded to us was given in another match today."
'THE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS SHAME IS STILL IN HIS SEAT'
Criticizing the MHK, Dursun Özbek expressed that they want the rules to be applied equally to everyone, stating, "The VAR referee assigned to our match has not officiated a match in the Super League for four months. Why hasn't he officiated? Clearly, he is a referee prepared for special matches! I can't think of it any other way. We are facing an MHK that is falling apart! The responsible for this shame is still sitting in his seat. We want justice, not privileges or special treatment like others. We want the rules to be applied equally to everyone."
"THERE ARE NO TRICKS IN GALATASARAY'S CULTURE"
Stating that they will take necessary actions, Özbek said, "As in the last 3 years, we will not let anyone take away Galatasaray's rights. There are no tricks in my upbringing or in Galatasaray's 500-year culture. At the core of Galatasaray is to stay on the field and to disrupt these dirty tricks. We became champions by eliminating such games over the last 3 years! We will do it again this year. No one should doubt that we will take the necessary actions today as we did in the past."
"OUR GREATEST STRENGTH IS UNITY"
Calling for unity and solidarity among his supporters, Dursun Özbek stated, "The TFF and the relevant committees will either stand by Galatasaray in these dirty games played against us or they will accept that they are also actors in this game. There is no other way. We are working to bring Galatasaray to sustainable success in sports, strengthen its financial structure, and surpass our rivals.
