FIRED WITH A SHOTGUN
The incident occurred today around 12:45 PM on Öğretmen Rasime Şeyhoğlu Street in the Karabağlar district. According to the information obtained, A.E.G. (19), who had a previous feud with the person, opened fire on the shutters of a closed business with the shotgun he had with him after a disagreement. Citizens in the vicinity, hearing the gunshots, panicked and fled the area, while traffic and dolphin teams were dispatched to the address upon notification.
POLICE CAUGHT HIM RED-HANDED
Police teams, who arrived at the scene shortly, pointed their weapons at the suspect waiting with the gun and warned him to surrender. During the moments when the police intervened by firing into the air, the suspect was neutralized and captured. Upon examination, it was determined that 5 pellets had hit the shutters of the business.
A.E.G., who was caught along with the shotgun used in the incident, was taken into custody and brought to the police station. Meanwhile, the moments when the suspect opened fire and was caught by the police teams were recorded by citizens with a mobile phone camera.
