He would leave for work at eight in the morning and return at two in the night. Sometimes my mother and I would get upset: 'We never see you,' we would say. He would always give the same answer: 'Just wait one more month, I will set everything right.' But those 'one months' never ended.

He loved Manisa very much. He embraced every elder, every child, every animal. He was full of life. He loved going to the sea, exercising, and learning new languages. But above all, he was a very good father. He would feel ashamed when he couldn't spend time with us. He wanted to go to concerts together, discover new cities, and sometimes just cuddle sleepily before going to work in the morning.
"HE ALWAYS TOLD ME: 'IF YOUR FATHER IS HERE, THERE'S NO PROBLEM. BUT I NO LONGER HAVE A FATHER"
