A 2020 FBI document highlighted remarkable intelligence claims regarding Jeffrey Epstein, who was prosecuted for sexually abusing dozens of girls in the U.S. and establishing a prostitution network, and was found dead in prison. The document alleged that Epstein was trained as a spy under the supervision of former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak. It was claimed in the document that Epstein was 'convinced' to be an agent recruited by Mossad, while Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu denied these allegations.

In a 2020 document from the FBI, striking intelligence claims were made regarding Jeffrey Epstein, who was prosecuted for sexually abusing dozens of girls under the age of 18, the youngest being 14, and establishing a prostitution network, and who was found dead in prison. The document, classified as a "Confidential Human Source" (CHS) report, suggested that Epstein was "trained as a spy" under the supervision of former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak.

CLAIMS IN THE ELECTION PROCESS FILE

The report dated October 16, 2020, was included among the intelligence notes compiled by the FBI under the heading "inappropriate domestic or foreign influence" regarding the election process in the United States. The document stated that the confidential source conveyed various claims about Epstein under different headings within this main file. The report did not contain any information indicating that these claims had been verified by the FBI or were subject to an official investigation.

DERSHOWITZ MEETINGS AND MOSSAD CLAIM

The document also included alleged phone conversations between Alan Dershowitz, a professor at Harvard Law School, and Epstein. According to the confidential source's claim, notes taken during these conversations were later forwarded to Israel's foreign intelligence service, Mossad.

The same report recorded the claim that Dershowitz told another American lawyer that Epstein was "connected to both U.S. and allied intelligence services." However, no documents, dates, or operational details were provided regarding this statement.

CLAIM THAT HE WAS "CONVINCED HE WAS RECRUITED BY MOSSAD"

According to the information in the CHS report, it was suggested that Ehud Barak viewed then-Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as "guilty." The source claimed that after numerous discussions about Barak and Epstein, it was "convinced" that Epstein was a recruited agent of Mossad. The document emphasized that these assessments were not institutional findings but merely personal opinions conveyed by the source.

DAY ONE VENTURES AND RUSSIA CONNECTION

The FBI document also contained other claims that went beyond Epstein. The confidential source alleged that the venture capital firm Day One Ventures was "operating to steal technology" in Silicon Valley. It was claimed that the company's founder and Epstein's former public relations consultant, Maša Bucher, was connected to a Russian youth network close to Russian President Vladimir Putin. No corroborating evidence was provided for these claims either.

CLAIMS AGAINST THE KUSHNER FAMILY

The report also suggested that there had been long-standing relations between the family of Jared Kushner, former President Donald Trump's son-in-law, and Israel. The document mentioned the claim of "corrupt business practices" against the Kushner family but did not share details.

WHAT IS KNOWN ABOUT THE EPSTEIN-BARAK RELATIONSHIP

Other recently published documents had revealed a long-term personal and professional relationship between Epstein and Ehud Barak. These records included information that Epstein had advised Barak on the technology company Palantir, discussed "high" consulting fees for former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, and facilitated Lord Peter Mandelson's role in an energy company. However, these documents did not contain any direct elements related to intelligence activities.

NETANYAHU'S CLEAR DENIAL

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu stated in a statement on the X platform that the close relationship between Epstein and Barak did not mean that Epstein worked on behalf of Israel. Netanyahu claimed that, contrary to this relationship, he refuted the allegations, stating that the discussion was more related to tensions in Israeli domestic politics than an intelligence matter.
