President Erdogan stated during the MYK meeting that the debates within the CHP are entirely an internal party matter, saying, "We have not been involved in this issue at any point until now, and we will not be involved from now on." Erdogan expressed that who becomes the chairman of the CHP is not important for them, and emphasized that the AK Party's focus is on the "Terror-Free Turkey" process, giving instructions to accelerate the relevant legal regulations.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who made evaluations regarding the agenda during the AK Party MYK meeting, made statements about the developments in the CHP.
Erdogan, stating that the leadership and management debates within the CHP are entirely an internal matter of the party, emphasized that the AK Party has no involvement in this process.
Erdogan noted that who sits in the chair of the CHP's general presidency is not important for them, and stated that their priorities are serving the nation and the issues on Turkey's agenda.
"WE WILL NOT BE INVOLVED HEREAFTER EITHER"
Erdogan, expressing his hope that the debates within the CHP do not harm democracy, said, "We have not been involved in any part of the issue until now, and we will not be involved hereafter. We hope that the negativities and reactions occurring within the main opposition party do not strain democracy."
THE "TERROR-FREE TURKEY" PROCESS IS ON THE AGENDA
Erdogan also stated that the AK Party should shift its focus to the efforts carried out towards the goal of a "Terror-Free Turkey."
Erdogan, noting that the People's Alliance has undertaken an important responsibility in this process, instructed his aides to complete the relevant legal regulations as soon as possible.
"LEGAL REGULATIONS MUST BE COMPLETED QUICKLY"
President Erdogan evaluated, "As the People's Alliance, we have put our bodies on the line for this. We need to negotiate and implement the laws as soon as possible."
AK Party sources stated that in the coming period, emphasis will be placed on legal regulations to be prepared within the scope of the "Terror-Free Turkey" goal.
