In the CHP, where a dual leadership emerged after the absolute nullity decision, the conflict between Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and Özgür Özel's teams escalated to new heights through disciplinary moves. Following the referral of 9 MPs close to Özel to the High Disciplinary Board for expulsion, it was alleged that the Kılıçdaroğlu administration is preparing to expel 7 suspended mayors, including Muhittin Böcek, Tanju Özcan, and Onursal Adıgüzel, from the party.
The main opposition party, the Republican People's Party (CHP), has been plunged into an unprecedented governance crisis and dual leadership process following the judiciary's decision of "absolute nullity." After politicians close to Özgür Özel decided to resign from the Party Assembly (PM), the Kılıçdaroğlu faction made the first move by announcing that PM activities would continue uninterrupted and unchanged.
9 MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT REFERRED TO DISCIPLINARY PROCEEDINGS
At the heart of the crisis, the Central Executive Board (MYK) convened under Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's chairmanship the day before yesterday and made extremely radical decisions. During the meeting, nine members of parliament known for their closeness to Özgür Özel were referred to the High Disciplinary Board (YDK) with a demand for definitive expulsion from the party. However, it is stated that the Kılıçdaroğlu administration's moves will not be limited to just the MPs.
ALLEGATION OF EXPULSION FOR 7 MAYORS
According to the latest claim shaking up political circles, the Kılıçdaroğlu administration is preparing for a major purge operation at the local government level as well. It is alleged that some mayors, who were temporarily suspended from their duties by the Ministry of Interior due to being detained as part of corruption investigations, will be referred to the High Disciplinary Board with a demand for expulsion.
The 7 mayors whose names are clearly mentioned in the corridors and claimed to be dealt with by the General Headquarters are as follows:

The common point of all these mayors, who are alleged to face expulsion demands, is that they have already been suspended from their official duties due to being detained as part of various legal and administrative investigations. Additionally, it is known that the vast majority of these named individuals have aligned themselves closely with the Özgür Özel administration in intra-party balances. In the corridors, it is being discussed that the Kılıçdaroğlu administration aims to completely eliminate Özel's influence within the party through this move.
