Erdoğan signed! Can Dizdar appointed as the Ambassador to Canada, 3 deputy directors were dismissed.

Some appointment and dismissal decisions regarding ministries and public institutions were published in the Official Gazette with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

DIZDAR TO THE EMBASSY OF CANADA

According to the decisions published with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Can Dizdar was appointed as the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the Embassy of Canada, in accordance with Articles 2, 3, and 4 of Presidential Decree No. 3.

WHO IS CAN DIZDAR?

Can Dizdar, who graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences, completed his postgraduate education at the College of Europe and received one year of education at the Royal College of Defense in London, England in 2004. Dizdar, who served in various positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, served at the embassies in Helsinki, Abu Dhabi, and London, and at the Permanent Mission of Turkey in New York.

Can Dizdar, who held important positions in his career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs such as the Head of the Political Planning Department, also served as a Senior Political Officer at the Political Affairs Division of the United Nations Secretariat. Dizdar, who held critical positions such as the General Directorate of the Middle East, also served as the Ambassador of Turkey to Abu Dhabi/United Arab Emirates.

Representing Turkey at the United Nations, Can Dizdar successfully represented Turkey in important diplomatic contacts such as the Geneva Syria peace talks. He has also been mentioned as an ambassador during the rapprochement process between Turkey and Israel. Can Dizdar, who is married to Demet Dizdar, is a father of one child.

3 NAMES DISMISSED

In accordance with Articles 2 and 3 of Presidential Decree No. 3, Hulya Yavuz, the Deputy General Director of Women's Status at the Ministry of Family and Social Services, Can Yildiz, the Deputy General Director of Customs Enforcement at the Ministry of Trade, and Gokcen Aygun, the Deputy General Director of Legal Services at the Ministry of Trade, were dismissed.

Senem Guzel was appointed as the Deputy General Director of Bilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Julide Kayihan was appointed as the Deputy General Director of International Economic Affairs, Aysegul Gokcen Karaarslan and Arda Ulutas were appointed as the Deputy General Directors of Consular Services and Overseas Citizens, Yunus Emre Kocak was appointed as the Deputy General Director of Protocol and Diplomatic Affairs, and Aytac Yilmaz was appointed as the Deputy General Director of Support Services. Arzu Kalkan was appointed as the Deputy General Director of the State Opera and Ballet at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

NOTABLE APPOINTMENTS IN THE MINISTRY OF NATIONAL DEFENSE

In the Ministry of National Defense, Abdulbaki Ozden was appointed as the Deputy General Director of Administrative Services, Ali Kulus was appointed as the Deputy General Director of Procurement Services, Uğur Gönülalan was appointed as the Deputy General Director of Military Health Services, and Bekir Sıtkı Şener was appointed as the Director of Fuel Supply and NATO POL Facilities Eastern Region. Mustafa Caner Meydan was appointed as the Deputy General Director of Development Agencies at the Ministry of Industry and Technology, Caner Kocoglu and Kemal Koksal Kasikci were appointed as the Deputy General Directors of Industrial Zones. Tayfun Kilic was appointed as the Deputy General Director of Export at the Ministry of Trade, Burak Guresci and Belkis Gursel were appointed as the Deputy General Directors of Import, Hakkı Barutcu was appointed as the Deputy General Director of International Agreements and European Union, Yasar Baltaci was appointed as the Deputy General Director of Customs Enforcement, Erkan Erturk and Ersay Cete were appointed as the Deputy General Directors of Trade Research and Risk Assessment, Emine Gokce Ergen was appointed as the Deputy General Director of Personnel, and Mehmet Balli was appointed as the Deputy General Director of Legal Services.

VACANT POSITIONS FILLED IN THE PRESIDENCY OF RELIGIOUS AFFAIRS

Aziz Aksu and Ömrüye Ayan were appointed as the Deputy General Directors of the European Union and External Relations at the Ministry of Transport. Musa Coskun, Huseyin Kucuk, Abdullah Refik Acar, Osman Iyisenyurek, and Ibrahim Nogman were appointed as members of the Council for the Examination and Recitation of the Quran at the Presidency of Religious Affairs, in accordance with Article 6 of Law No. 633 and Articles 2 and 3 of Presidential Decree No. 3.

Huseyin Kasay, who succeeded in the qualification exam, was appointed as an Inspector of Labor at the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, in accordance with Articles 2 and 3 of Presidential Decree No. 3. Tuğba Yiğit was appointed as an Inspector of Labor at the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, in accordance with Article 37 of Law No. 375 and Article 2 of Presidential Decree No. 3.

Ibrahim Dincer and Abdullah Buğrahan Karaveli were appointed as members of the Executive Board of the Turkish Energy, Nuclear, and Mining Research Institute, in accordance with Articles 2 and 3 of Presidential Decree No. 3 and Article 683 of Presidential Decree No. 4.
