President Erdoğan made the first statement on his social media account following the establishment of a ceasefire in Gaza. Erdoğan stated, "We welcome the conclusion of the ceasefire negotiations between the Palestinian Resistance Movement HAMAS and Israel with an agreement. As Turkey, we have never left our Palestinian brothers alone for a moment in their struggle against oppression and the oppressor."

President Erdoğan stated the following in his announcement:

"We welcome the outcome of the ceasefire negotiations between the Palestinian Resistance Movement HAMAS and Israel with an agreement.

We hope that the agreement will be a blessing for our Palestinian brothers, our region, and all of humanity, and that it will pave the way for lasting peace and stability.

We respectfully salute the heroic people of Gaza and their brave sons who courageously defend their lands and freedoms against Israel's unlawful and inhumane attacks.

As Turkey, we have never left our Palestinian brothers alone for a moment in their struggle against oppression and tyrants.

Insha'Allah, we will continue to stand by the people of Gaza and mobilize all our resources to heal Gaza's wounds and help it rise again.

On this occasion, I remember all our martyrs who watered the lands of Gaza with their blessed blood with mercy, and I pray to my Lord for the ceasefire agreement to be beneficial.
