PANATHINAIKOS CHAMPION OF THE GREEK CUP
While the first period of the match at Heraklion Arena ended in a 17-17 tie, Panathinaikos scored 28 points in the second quarter and went to the locker room leading 45-29. In the third quarter, Panathinaikos, which also featured Cedi Osman, did not allow Olympiakos to close the gap and entered the final period with a score advantage of 69-51. Although Olympiakos played more effectively in the last period, Panathinaikos became the owner of the cup by defeating its opponent 79-68.
