European stock markets closed mixed on Tuesday amid concerns over recovery with COVID-19 remaining a threat and rising inflation.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, lost 0.32 points, or 0.07%, to close at 457,21.
London's FTSE 100 diminished 16.62 points, or 0.23%, to 7,130, while Germany's DAX 30 slipped 52.27 points, or 0.34%, to 15,146.
France's CAC 40 was down 22.43 points, or 0.34%, to end the day at 6,548 points, while Italy's Borsa Italiana FTSE MIB 30 was up 59.56 points, or 0.23%, to 25,990.
Spain's IBEX 35 rose 36.90 points, or 0.41%, to close at 8,935. -
