European Stocks Close Higher Except For Spain

Italy’s FTSE MIB performs best, rising 1.07%; Spain’s IBEX 35 falls 0.08%

European stock exchanges closed Friday higher except for Spain's IBEX 35.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European markets in 17 countries, was up 2.15 points, or 0.43%, to close at 497.25.

The UK's FTSE 100 rose 21 points, or 0.28%, to finish the session at 7,706. Germany's DAX added 48 points, or 0.28%, to 17,419.

France's CAC 40 increased 55 points, or 0.7%, to end the day at 7,966.

Italy's FTSE MIB was the best performer of the day, rising 344 points, or 1.07%, to hit 32,700 by the closing bell.

Spain's IBEX 35, on the other hand, declined 8.3 points, or 0.08%, to finish the week at 10,130. -
