A mother of three, who narrowly escaped death after being stabbed five times by her estranged husband who secretly entered her home in the 19 Mayıs district of Samsun, expressed her concern that her husband, currently in prison, might attempt to kill her again upon his release.
The incident occurred in the Cumhuriyet neighborhood of the 19 Mayıs district in Samsun. According to the allegations, B. Ordulu, who was in the process of divorce and had a restraining order against him, entered the house by taking the keys from his son while his wife was not at home.
HE SET A TRAP AND STABBED HER MULTIPLE TIMES The husband, who was hiding behind the door, pointed his gun at his wife Muradiye Ordulu (38) as she entered the house and seriously injured her by stabbing her five times during the ensuing argument. B. Ordulu was arrested for "attempted murder against his spouse." Muradiye Ordulu is currently receiving psychological support after her intensive care and hospital process.
"I STABBED HER 5 TIMES, I ESCAPED WITH PEPPER SPRAY" Describing the incident, Muradiye Ordulu said, "On the day of the incident, I had dropped my daughter off at school and returned home. My estranged husband took the house keys from my younger son, entered secretly, and hid behind the door. When I entered the house, he pointed the gun at my head and started threatening me before stabbing me. Luckily, I had pepper spray with me that day. I managed to escape by spraying the pepper spray in his face. I still can't forget that day. I was stabbed in five places. One in my groin, one in my lung, two in my right abdominal cavity, and one in my arm. He stabbed me randomly in various places. My husband is currently in a closed prison, but I am not at ease at all. The other side has told my children to convince me to withdraw my complaint. This incident is not that simple," she said.
"IF HE GETS OUT OF PRISON, HE WILL FINISH WHAT HE STARTED, I DON'T THINK HE WILL LET ME LIVE" Muradiye Ordulu, who expressed her fear of her husband's release, said, "I think the trial will start soon. I want him to receive a life sentence. I hope he gets a deterrent sentence. If he gets out of prison, he will finish what he started, and I don't think he will let me live. On the day of the incident, he first beat me severely. He assaulted me as if he were fighting with a man. For two weeks, I couldn't feel some of my senses. My face was swollen, and there were nail marks. Those have healed, but the effects of that day still linger. I find it hard to even talk about it. While he was beating me, when I sprayed pepper spray for the second time, he started to choke me. At that moment, I didn't realize what was happening. I didn't understand that I was being stabbed. When I sprayed pepper spray again, escaped from him, and ran to the top of the stairs, I felt pain and realized I had been stabbed. After that, I started to run away. My 17-year-old son still cannot accept that his father could do this to his mother. My middle child, from whom he took the keys, is very angry because he feels deceived. My little girl didn't have much dialogue with her father. My children do not even feel their father's absence right now. They were always with me, and I am grateful to be alive because I don't know what would happen to my children if I weren't here."
"WE DON'T WANT TO SEE OUR DAUGHTER'S FUNERAL" Father Bahri Karaca stated, "Due to some laws, criminals can enter through the front door and exit through the back door. That is our concern. Our daughter escaped death this time, but we are doubtful about whether she will be able to escape next time. We do not know what kind of punishment he will receive. During the marriage process, we provided all the support we could as parents. Unfortunately, this person's intention was not to build a home but to constantly create pressure and fear for my daughter. My daughter last informed me about her situation, but we did not expect this much. We are seeking refuge in our state, and we hope he receives the necessary punishment. Our fear is that we do not want to see our daughter's funeral after this person gets out of prison. We hope that such a thing does not happen and that our state gives the necessary punishment," he said.
