U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee claimed that "Israel has a biblical right" in the region extending from the Nile River to the Euphrates River, stating, "It would have been better if they had taken all of it."
U.S. Ambassador Huckabee defended the killing of children in the genocide carried out by Israel in Gaza and the view of a "Greater Israel based on the Torah" in an interview with U.S. journalist Tucker Carlson.
At the beginning of the interview, when Carlson asked Huckabee about his secret meeting with Israeli Jonathan Pollard, who was arrested for spying on behalf of Israel in the U.S. and later returned to his country, Huckabee claimed that he met with the Israeli spy Pollard at the Embassy and that it was not a "secret meeting" because there were security cameras and security personnel.
In response to the question, "Did Israel's sending of U.S. soldiers to Iraq and using them for their war serve U.S. interests or Israel's?" Huckabee stated that "Israel is America's closest ally" and claimed that the 2003 invasion of Iraq was conducted for the "fight against terrorism."
"ISRAEL HAS THE RIGHT TO DEFEND ITSELF WITH ITS NUCLEAR PROGRAM" When Carlson brought up allegations regarding Israel's nuclear program, asking, "What do you say about the claims that Israel developed its nuclear weapons program with stolen U.S. materials?" Huckabee, who did not deny Israel's nuclear weapons program, responded, "Israel has the right to defend itself with its nuclear program, and we are cooperating."
When asked if Israel wanted to drag the U.S. into a war against Iran, Huckabee stated, "Iran is a real threat, they have nuclear tendencies and they chant 'Death to America.' This is not war incitement; it is deterrence for peace."
U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee "IRAN WANTS TO KILL AMERICANS, ISRAEL PROTECTS U.S. INTERESTS" In response to Carlson's objections to Huckabee's views, stating, "Isn't this sacrificing American soldiers for Israel's wars? How do you ignore the allegations of stolen nuclear materials? A war with Iran would be a disaster for the U.S.? Why are we following Israel's agenda?" Huckabee replied, "Tucker, you are misinformed. The Iranian regime wants to kill Americans and has been chanting 'Death to America' for 47 years. Israel protects U.S. interests. We are transparent on nuclear issues, and this is for mutual security."
"ISRAEL COULD KILL ALL THE CHILDREN IN GAZA IN ONE DAY IF IT WANTED" Regarding Israel's killing of thousands of children in Gaza, Huckabee responded to Carlson's question, "What do you feel about the deaths of 14-year-old Hamas militants?" with "If they participated in this, God help them." In response to Carlson's question, "Does a 14-year-old child have the ability to make decisions, does he deserve death because he is used by adults?" Huckabee stated, "If he is holding a weapon, also Israel could have killed all the children in Gaza in less than a day if it wanted to, but it does not."
"ISRAEL'S RIGHT FROM THE NILE TO THE EUPHRATES" In response to American journalist Carlson's question about Israel's claim to "promised lands," U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee referred to the Bible.
When Carlson exclaimed, "This includes parts of Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia. So it means taking all of the Middle East," Huckabee claimed that Israel has "a Torah-based right from the Nile River to the Euphrates River," stating, "It would be good for Israel to take all of them because God gave it to them."
The myth of a Greater Israel state from the Nile to the Euphrates Claiming that these lands belong to Israel theologically, Huckabee also stated that he does not expect Israel to establish full sovereignty over these borders anytime soon, but he noted that "theologically and historically" this is God's promise, stating:
"Therefore, according to the Bible, yes, these are the promised lands given to the Jewish people as property forever. If one day Israel establishes sovereignty or control over all of these lands, it would not be a problem for them to take all of them. Theologically and historically, according to the Holy Scriptures, these are the lands that God promised them."
When Tucker Carlson asked, "So why should America support this?" Huckabee replied, "Because the Bible says so, and this is a sacred right."
