A terrorist attack was carried out at the TUSAŞ facilities in the Kahramankazan district of Ankara. Following the explosion, an armed conflict broke out, and Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya stated, "Two terrorists have been neutralized in the terrorist attack. Unfortunately, we have 3 martyrs and 14 injured." Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç also announced, "A judicial investigation has been initiated by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the treacherous terrorist attack, and 1 Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor and 8 public prosecutors have been assigned."

An explosion occurred in front of the Turkish Aircraft Industries Corporation (TUSAŞ) facility located in the Kahramankazan district of Ankara. Gunfire was heard following the explosion. Claims of a suicide bomber and a terrorist attack have emerged regarding the incident.
