In the accident that occurred as a result of a passenger bus getting stuck in the legs of the overpass in Ankara, 9 people lost their lives, while the car driver who was driving behind the bus during the accident said, "The bus was a bit fast, it started swaying about 3-4 kilometers before here, then it hit the bridge. The parts flying off the bus hit our car. We flashed our lights from behind, honked the horn but he didn't hear."

Nine people lost their lives and 26 people were injured as a passenger bus collided with a bridge pillar near Polatlı district of Ankara.

According to the information received, the passenger bus, which was on its way from Izmir to Ağrı, went off the road and hit the bridge pillars near Olukpınar village in the early morning. Upon notification, many teams were dispatched to the scene.

According to initial determinations in the massacre-like accident, 9 people lost their lives and the route where the accident occurred was closed to traffic.

Murat Türkoğlu, the driver of the car that was following the bus during the accident, stated that they were going to Polatlı and said, "We left together from Temelli, we were driving side by side anyway. The bus was a bit fast, it started to sway a bit about 3-4 kilometers before here, then it hit the bridge. Pieces flying from the bus hit our car. We honked the horn from behind but they didn't hear" he said.
