Al Nassr bid farewell to departing head coach Jorge Jesus with a message of thanks. The Portuguese manager, who stated he has received offers from Turkey, had indicated that besides Fenerbahçe, another Turkish club is also interested in him.
Al Nassr, the representative of Saudi Arabia, published a farewell message for the experienced coach after parting ways with manager Jorge Jesus.
"LEAVING AS A HERO"
In the statement made by the club, Jorge Jesus's contributions to Al Nassr were highlighted. The statement said, "He came for a tough challenge and leaves as a hero. Thank you for everything you did for Al Nassr. You will always remain a loved and cherished figure for Al Nassr fans."
HE HAD REVEALED INTEREST FROM TURKEY
The Portuguese coach had recently announced in a statement that he received offers from Turkey. Jesus made striking remarks, stating that not only Fenerbahçe but also another Turkish club was interested in him.
The experienced coach said, "Not only Fenerbahçe, but another Turkish team also made me an offer. There are three big teams in Turkey: Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray, and Beşiktaş. Two of these three were interested. The second team can remain a secret for now."
STATEMENTS FROM FENERBAHÇE'S SIDE
Following Jorge Jesus's words, Fenerbahçe presidential candidates Aziz Yıldırım and Hakan Safi stated that they had not held any meetings with the Portuguese coach.
