FIRST MEETING WITH İMAMOĞLU AFTER THE ANNULMENT DECISION
Özel met for the first time with Ekrem İmamoğlu, who was arrested and removed from his post in the investigation into the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB), following the annulment decision.
Özel also met with Ataşehir Mayor Onursal Adıgüzel, Beşiktaş Mayor Rıza Akpolat, Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel, Bayrampaşa Mayor Hasan Mutlu, Beyoğlu Mayor İnan Güney, Şile Mayor Özgür Kabadayı, Beylikdüzü Mayor Mehmet Murat Çalık, Beykoz Mayor Alaatin Köseler, Gaziosmanpaşa Mayor Hakan Bahçetepe, Avcılar Mayor Utku Caner Çaykara, Şişli Mayor Resul Emrah Şahan, Büyükçekmece Mayor Hasan Akgün, Party Assembly member Baki Aydöner, former CHP MP Aykut Erdoğdu, Gezi Park case convicts Can Atalay, businessman Osman Kavala, urban planner Tayfun Kahraman, and journalist Merdan Yanardağ.
Özel left Silivri after visits with 19 people lasting approximately 7 hours.
