A response has come from the Fenerbahçe side regarding the claim that "if Fenerbahçe becomes champion, Ali Koç will become the Chairman of the MHP." Fenerbahçe Congress Member Lawyer Fatih Şaşıoğlu denied the claim made by journalist Memduh Bayraktaroğlu.

First and foremost, it should be emphasized that the esteemed duty of the MHP Chairmanship is carried out by the Wise Leader of the Turkish World, Mr. Devlet Bahçeli. The baseless claims regarding the MHP Chairmanship are far from political decorum."
Moreover, the conditions for being a candidate for the Chairman are specified in Article 69/5 of the MHP Party Statute. The claim made about Mr. Ali Koç has no material reality, nor does it have any legal basis."
